Steven & Lewis
On Sunday 11th June, Lothian Running Club held their annual trail race festival at Dechmont Law which is a hill in Livingston, West Lothian and its the highest hill in the area boasting views of Arthur's Seat and the Pentland Hills.

They had a range of trail races for all age groups and abilties from 10k, 3.5k and 2k fun run.  Today we had 4 athletes from the Junior Endurance section running in both trail race events. First up was Lewis Moir and Steven Cooper in the 2k trail race. This event had 41 runners of mixed age, gender and ability. Lewis won the event in swift time of 9.15 followed by Steven in 9.46 finishing in 4th overall.

Next was teenagers Ashleigh Moir and Max Jones who were contending the trails over a 3.5k distance. In a field of 18 runners, Max was first Harrier home in 14.50 finishing just outside top ten in 11th with Ashleigh finishing her race in 17.12 in 15th place and 2nd in her age group.
