GREAT SCOTTISH JUNIOR RUN

Let's get involved in this one.  Calling all squad members aged 15 and under on Saturday 1st October. Race starts at 10am.

The Great Scottish Junior Run is on the date above. Distance is 2.5K...entry £7.00.

A bit of inspiration for our young athletes. My own daughter Emma who has ran for Calderglen Harriers and now helps me with the under 11 squad did this event back in 2011 when she was 10 years old.

Back then it was a 1.5k event and she was was 6^th overall in the 1.5K event and 3^rd female (1^st female was 12 years old and 2^nd female 14 years old) and her time of 4:58mins was 10 seconds shy of matching the 1^st female.

So come on lets try and get as many junior Harriers taking part and you never know maybe you will end up on the podium?
