Junior Harrier Team |
Kai in the home stretch |
The first Harrier home in 5th place was Chris McCarron in 11:56 then with a bit of gap the rest of the Harriers came in like buses. Patrick Saez was 12th in 13:02 closely followed by Kai Wheeler in 13:07 and 13th place. Finally the rest of pack came in with his first race as a Calderglen Harrier, young Ben Buchanan was 18th in 13:42 and the only young woman of the day running from the club was Lucy Saez finishing in a great time of 14:36.
Well done to all, please be champions and encourage your fellow runners in your training groups to take part next year.
There is lots of pictures from this race on the club facebook page which may have some pictures of the juniors.

DOWN BY THE RIVER RACES CAMBUSLANG 3k
Tomorrow is the Down By The River 3k.
The race starts at 11.10am. The race organiser Cambuslang Harriers have stated that the registration desk will close at 10.15am. So make sure you are there in time to pick up your number or register if not done so.
Can all the juniors Harriers that are doing the race be at the start of the race for 10.30am as we are going to try to organise a club picture of Senior (doing 10k) & Junior Harriers. Ideally I want everyone to run in a club vest. Next best option if you have a yellow club training t-shirt. Good way to promote club. Remember the race start is about 1 mile away from Cambuslang Sports Club.
Good luck to everyone and see you tomorrow.
Richard
