Victoria Park Junior Parkrun #73 (2k) - 17/04/16
127 runners in the field today.

11th, Ruby Byrne, 9:10, 21st junior parkrun

12th, Ava Byrne, 9:18, 21st junior parkrun

Well done to Ava & Ruby for achieving their Green wristbands. This is junior parkruns award scheme that recognises key milestones based on the number of junior parkruns completed. The Green wristband is a reward to both girls completing 21 runs or 42k and is the same distance as a marathon.  The next key milestone is an Orange wristband which is for 50 runs which is 100k the same as a ultra marathon.

Here is a note of the bands that will be awarded to those who reach the following junior parkrun club milestones:

Blue: half marathon (11runs or 22k – yes, a little over the 21k half marathon!)
Green: marathon (21 runs or 42k)
Orange: ultra marathon (50runs – a MASSIVE 100k!)

Victoria Park Parkrun #123 (5k) - 16/04/16

330 runners took part in parkrun at Victoria Park.

83rd, Lewis Moir, 22:19, 9th 5k parkrun, course best and 5 second shy of his Pb set at Strathclyde Parkrun in October 2015.

After this performance Lewis is sitting 12th out 88 runners in top performances for all JM10 athletes at Victoria parkrun, Glasgow
