Under 13 Boys, 2k
Leg 1, Aidian Hamilton, 7.10, finished in 6th
Leg 2, Kai Wheeler, 7.41, maintained 6th
Leg 3, Lewis Moir, 7.23, gained 2 places finishing in 4th
Overall team time was 22.14
Both teams did a great job yesterday representing the club in a local club championship. For the girls this was their first taste of competition in a club environment and all 3 coped well. Hopefully this can be a positive start for the girls and keep progressing up the age groups in the future. For the boys this age group is always very competitive with local rival East Kilbride AC and slightly further afield Cambuslang Harriers and Shettleston Harriers. However as Coach I was positive that the boys would run a good race with their individual recent performances, their metal was being tested and securing a fabulous 4th place, 1.05 minutes behind 3rd place team Shettleston Harriers.
