Discover Dunblane 2km Youth Race - 27/05/18



Kai in action

Kai Wheeler was in action at the Dunblane 2k Youth Race. Build as 2k race Kai's Dad said it as actually a 1mile race.  Despite that Kai put in gutsy performance being one of the youngest in the under 13 male category and finished in 6th in a time of 6:58.

Massive well done to Lewis for a great time & Pb for himself and in the JM 11-14 age group. There was a number of Senior Harriers running this parkrun including myself who ran Pbs and being the only junior out of 8 Harriers Lewis was first Harrier home.

Down By The River race in Cambuslang

Lewis Moir and Kai Wheeler were racing today at the local race in Cambuslang called Down By The River running a new 3k course.

Latest news......

In a strong field of 25 mainly Cambuslang Harriers juniors, Calderglen Harriers junior boys Lewis and Kai fought for their places and times.  Lewis was first Calderglen Harrier home in 11:42 placing 9th with Kai rapping up in 16th in 13:20.

Well done Lewis and Kai you had a tough field today and acquitted yourselves great.

Monklands Half Marathon, 5k and Primary School events - 13/05/18

Latest news in Kai Wheeler and Steven Cooper ran a junior event at the above running festival today. First Harrier home was Kai in 3:38 in 4th place with Steven just behind him finishing a fast 5th in 3:43.

 

Great running from all the juniors this weekend.  Lets try and get more of you out in the lead up to the club trail race at Parkruns. We will let you know the date of the next coach supported club parkrun. This weekend was at Victoria Park and we will choose a different parkrun venue.
