WEEKEND ROUND UP 10 / 11 MARCH

Its been a while since the weekend round ups where on the blog.  Lewis Moir's Mum sent me an update on his performance at the Victoria Park Junior Parkrun.  So if any of the young athletes or Mums or Dads want to inform me of races you have taken part over a weekend then drop me line by email or FB with details.

Victoria Park Junior 2k Parkrun #163 - 11/03/18

2nd, Lewis Moir, 7:32, 33rd junior parkrun, Pb by 17 seconds

2nd in his age group and squeezed out of 1st place by 7 seconds!

88 runners in the field

Other key stats from Team Moir Garmin, Lewis ran his fastest mile of 6:02 and his fastest 1k of 3:38.

Looks good for Lewis and the other under 13 boys for the Young Athletes Road Race in Greenock next Sunday when they run the 2.5k course.
