LONDON MARATHON / PARKRUN WEEKEND ROUND UP

On the weekend of the 37th London Marathon there was 4 Scotland teams competing in the British Athletics Junior Road Race Champs also known as the Mini Mararthon. The teams were 2 U17 teams, women & men and 2 U15 teams, women & men.

I mention this as this year's U17 women's race was won by Erin Wallace who only trains down the road in Giffnock with Giffnock North running club. Fantastic achievment for her and I have had the pleasure training with Erin.  So if you want to be a good runner anyone can do it where ever you live in the UK.

Our very own junior champs were out running their local parkrun events.

LOST PROPERTY / HARRIER BRANDED CLOTHES

I have a growing emporium of lost property that people left behind after training and never seem to claim it back.  I don't have the space to store in my house and so I have made a list.

I will display out tonight for everyone to look at and if it is yours please take it. Otherwise it is going in the bin.

Also people have kindly handed in old hoodies, jackets etc that there child has outgrown or if they have left the club.  They are free to a good home. So please take a look and if it could fit you please take away. I will display this tonight too.

EASTER HOLIDAY TRAINING

Just a note as a few people asked. Junior Harrier training is on business as usual during the school spring holidays. So Wednesday 5th and 12th April please attend as normal.
