| Lewis in action |
This was a busy weekend for the junior Harriers. Not only did we have athletes taking part in the Victoria Junior Park Parkrun, we had Lewis Moir taking part in the Scottish Mid-Trail Championships in the under 11 age group on Saturday 5th September.
The Scottish Mid-Trail Championships were held in the Falklands Estate, Fife and Lewis was the only Calderglen Harrier representing any of the younger age group events. The Senior section had large contingent of runners going through to contest in the Masters race. Back to Lewis.
Both the under 11 and 13 age groups were running a 3k distance similar to our own Trail race, and I can only see from the results that Lewis recorded a great time of 13:55 placing him 9th in a mixed gender race in a field of 18 runners. So well done Lewis and maybe next time you can encourage some of the other under 11 training group to take part.

To top that we now have regular Parkrun runners most weekends and this weekend never let the club down. We had 3 runners taking part in the Victoria Junior Park Parkrun and all got Pbs! Superb and you can't ask for anymore. The size of the field of runners was 100 so a big well done to all.
