The above event is the next race on the calender for the u13 and upwards. It will take place at Callendar Park in Falkirk (postcode FK1 1YR) . Details are:

Under 13 Girls, starting at 11am, distance 3.1k

Under 13 Boys, starting at 11.16am, distance 3.1k

Under 15 Girls, starting at 11.32am, distance 4.1k

Under 15 Boys, starting at 11.53am, distance 4.1k

Under 17 Women, starting at 12.15pm, distance 6k
Under 20 Women, starting at 12.15pm, distance 7.5k

Under 17 Men, starting at 12.50pm, distance 6k
Under 20 Men, starting at 2:25pm, distance 7.5k

I need a response by Wednesday 7th February (3 weeks today) to let me know that you want to run.  I can be told at training, email or facebook through our group page.

 

Please ensure you have current Scottish Athletics membership.  The club will pay your entry fee.

 

If you are entering athletes need to wear the Calderglen Harrier running vest.  They can be bought for £12. If you need one please see me ASAP in case we need to order your size.

I suggest a next week at training (Wednesday) all athletes in John and Mark's squads we have a group chat with all coaches and athletes on doing this event.

CALDERGLEN HARRIERS HATS

As our winter training progresses the autumn weather gets colder you could benefit from keeping yourself warm and maximising your body heat during training nights. Then look no further than a Calderglen Harrier commemorative hat. In 2014 Calderglen Harriers had their 30th anniversary and as part of those celebrations we got commemorative hats for members.  I have a final stock of 12 exclusive commemorative hats which are available at a cost of £3.

 

If you looking for a Christmas stocking filler for your loved one(s), any new members to the club, existing members looking to renew their well worn hat or any other family or friends wish to purchase such a fetching hat then just speak to Sarah or I on Wednesday training nights.

SATURDAY TRAINING CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

Hi folks,

We have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow's training (Saturday 20th January) due to weather conditions.

Hopefully training will be back as normal next week. Fingers crossed.

Sports Club Closed Wednesday Night due to Weather

Further to cancelling tonight's junior session. The East Kilbride Sports Club annouced on their Facebook page the club is closed again tonight (Wednesday 17th January) due to weather conditions.

Hopefully the Saturday junior session will be on and Mark will confirm this.

RETURN OF TRAINING

With the everyone slowly getting back to normal this week in terms of work and the schools back next week, its time to return to club training again.

This weeks coming sessions are:

Saturday 6th January at 10am to 11:15am and
Wednesday 10th January at usual time from 6:30pm to 8pm
